Dear Friends,
Hello and welcome to Classic Wines' website! Classic
Wines is looking forward to getting to know you and to
fulfilling all of your wine-related needs.
Classic Wines is the product of a forty-year dream of
its owner, Richard Matthews. After retiring from Pfizer
Inc. in 2003, Richard and wife, Kathy, moved to
Reynold's Plantation in Greensboro, Georgia.
Realizing that retirement had come a little early for
him, Richard's passion for wine could not be
contained. Classic Wines was established in 2006 in
Putnam County, Georgia, and later relocated to its
current address in Greensboro.
In addition to Richard and Kathy, Classic Wines is
fortunate to have two additional staff members, Valerie
Barker and Alice Lee Andreottola, available to assist
you.
We are pleased to offer the largest selection of wines
in the area. In addition, we carry an extensive
inventory of distilled spirits, as well as, an array of
custom made gift baskets.
